It’s well known that plastics are bad for the environment. However, in recent years it’s become more evident that plastics are also extremely harmful to human health. Among our most vulnerable demographics are children, who are exposed to plastics every day: especially in the form of toys. Meanwhile, toys are also considered short-life products, as children lose interest in them quickly.
This project is about creating toys from natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable materials that support child development and a healthy planet for them to grow up on, as well as developing a toy that will grow with a child as they grow up, via digital integration.
